Assedio al Castello, luglio 2014

Nell’anno 1446 il castello di Gradara subiva un terribile assalto messo in atto dai potenti eserciti degli Sforza e dei Montefeltro. Dopo lunghi giorni di lotte cruente sotto le mura di cinta, i nemici dovettero però arrendersi al coraggio e all’ostinazione dei gradaresi.

In memoria della vittoriosa ed eroica resistenza della roccaforte malatestiana, nel penultimo fine settimana di Luglio si celebra la manifestazione “Assedio al Castello“: una grande rievocazione storica in costume durante la quale si succedono incessantemente scene di battaglia, scontri, duelli in grado di far rivivere quei concitati momenti.

In the year 1446 the castle of Gradara suffered a terrible assault put in place by the powerful armies of the Sforza and Montefeltro. After long days of bloody fights under the city walls, the enemies had to surrender but to the courage and obstinacy of Inhabitants of Gradara .
In memory of the victorious and heroic resistance of the Malatesta fortress, in the penultimate weekend in July is celebrated the event "Siege of the Castle": a great historical re-enactment during which happen constantly battle scenes, fights, duels able to excited to relive those moments.
